Texas style, once considered an oxymoron by the stoic sensibilities of the Northeast, is now reflective of America itself. Rugged individualism, high quality, large living, and impeccable taste are values that Texans share with all Americans.
Vibrant photographs by Jack Parsons transports us from tradational ranches in the country to cozy lofts in the city to majestic mansions in the Hill Country and brilliantly captures the warmth and grandeur of Lone Star Living.

| This guest room is accented by a hand carved star and heart, a take-your-boots-off bench, a vintage horse-portrait hooked rug, a saavy saddlebag pillow by Ralph Laured, and, last but never least, a painted Texas flag hung pop-art style under a peg rack dripping in cowboy necessities. |

The longhorn mount seems to be spreading its wings to take flight. A firebox of wafer bricks is fronted by an antique chiseled cantera that was once part of a massive hacienda and entranceway vaunting twelve foot doors. The andirons and the lone bronze steer sculpture by Enrique "Kiko" Guerra brandish the Yturria Ranch brand. |
